…I have been in bed for two weeks.

and Hulu.com has been my constant companion.  After not watching television for over a year (and almost nothing but Law and Order prior to that), I have developed a strong love for a few new (mostly just new to me) shows on the tube.

Shows I now love:

Modern Family (I snorted through this last week)
Chuck (Comedy! Action! Spies! Love!)
Lie to Me (Body Language/Action-Drama)
Bones (apparently this show has been around since 2005?)
House (Hugh Laurie is just so good looking)
30 Rock (I didn’t believe the hype for the last two seasons.  Now all I wonder is, why couldn’t  Tracy Morgan be my father? and Tina Fey my sister?)

For those that care, Glee can shove it.  I’m sick of the infidelity and lies.  Plus, it’s like High School Musical for grown-ups.  Weird.

ALSO, I finally updated and organized my blog lists on the right (after talking about doing it for a year), still have many more to include I am sure but it’s late and I will get to it.  If you are not on there, please leave me a comment with a link to your blog so I can add you!

Other than that, it has been OH so nice to be out and around again.  I had cabin fever something awful until yesterday.  Luckily, some girlfriends and I have started a social club for ourselves disguised as a book club.  We met for the first time last night, and I thought I was in heaven.  Besides eating delicious foods, we told delicious secrets and talked about the men in our lives, goofy things and (eventually) books.   If anyone (female) wants to join a gaggle of renaissance women for a book club, we are reading The Thirteenth Tale before we meet again in January (skipping December due to the ridiculous holiday schedules).

This weekend, I am looking forward to spending time with my girl Stephanie on Sunday, and attending Cowboys and Indies 4 Friday and Saturday.   In my boots, of course.  And likely…a scarf.

Many of you know that I work tightly with the local music community here in Provo, but what few realize is why.  Now is my chance to show you!  Yes, Provo UT is just chock-full of musicianship…the cool kind.

A local online mag, Rhombus Magazine, has put together  their first free compilation of local music and many (but not all) of my favorites and friends are embedded within.  This is quality stuff you would enjoy.  I hope you can take my word for it.   Plus, local artist Jess Smart Smiley designed the pretty cover art.  This is a great sampling for everyone!
