The latest in The Occidental Saloon series features local band Parlor Hawk. Their album “Hoarse & Roaring” debuted at number 14 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts on June 15th! They won’t be local for long! This was shot at a lovely barn in Mapleton, Utah.
The Occidental Saloon recently captured Joshua James and guitarist Evan, playing a cover of Tom Waits’ “Green Grass”. Filmed in the museum also known as home to Corey Fox. Thanks, Corey…for letting us in with your Buffalo head.
The latest Occidental Saloon video features Provo-based band Neon Trees, who on March 16th had their Mercury Records debut release of their album, “Habits”. You can hear them on the radio, nationwide!
Here is their acoustic set of “Animal”. Filmed on location at the Velour Live Music Gallery, in Provo. Set design by Corey Fox.
We met with Spencer Russell (you may know him from his project Mudbison) at Cafe Trendz, in downtown Provo.
Here is the latest session we filmed, featuring The Archers Apple.
